This old wool carder is marked "The Only Genuine Old Whittemore Patent Improved No 8 Wool L.S. Watson & Co Leicester, Mass." This is used for spinning yarn. The head measures 9-1/4" x 4". The handle is 5" long. I have two available. $10 each.
