Hello, I am a female looking for trade of room and board with a small salary to include utilities in preferably the Gresham / NE Pdx or SE Pdx area beginning August 1st, short term (minimum of 3 months) or long term for caretaking, house cleaning, pet sitting, personal assistant, tutoring services. Please specify what you are looking for whether short term or long term when you contact me. I would PREFER to live with a female, couple or a place where there is another woman in the house or elderly man or woman who needs care. NEEDS to be close to public transportation. Would prefer wifi too, if possible but definitely internet so I can look for work. I would prefer a private bathroom (if possible) and kitchen privileges, etc. Would like a decent size room and if you have storage, even better unless it is not needed due to the size of the room, etc. I don't have a lot of furniture, but I have some small pieces not including my bed so unfurnished is fine. Experience: *Volunteer work being a caretaker with housekeeping, help with meals, laundry, cleaning, errands to the store, etc. *Volunteer work tutoring English to Russian immigrants in Portland. *Pet care as a vet assistant, dog bather/groomer, pet sitter, and I work well with skittish animals. *Expired CNA license -- I did this a long time ago in another state. I have the license with me still to show my experience and training. *Personal assistant -- This encompasses all of my work experience in the office field as well as legal field. I cannot give legal advice! I can type up to 60 WPM with great accuracy! Though I do have tendonitis, so can't type full time or for long periods of time. If you have a home business, I can help with organization, filing and other things, but please keep in mind my medical limitations listed below. I can provide character and rental references if needed. Background check is offered, but you will need to pay for that since my income is limited. I can provide legal references of the attorneys I've worked for and other job references, character references and references from people I've lived with for your peace of mind. *Medical Limitations: I have problems with my short and long term memory and anxiety, so need to work in a stress free environment as much as possible. Because of my anxiety, I don't drive, therefore, I use public transportation though I can help with some grocery shopping. I can't be on my feet standing or walking for long periods of time due to my medical condition, so if you can work around that it would be beneficial to both of us. A Little About Me: I am a young, 40 yr old, non-smoker, very quiet person, keep to myself, but enjoy some socialization. I love pets though I don't own any. I am artistic (draw, paint and craft), love music, enjoy learning new crafts, going to the movies, and learning new ways to eat healthy. I go to church frequently, so I am a Christian. Would prefer to find a place where there is no smoking inside, no AT ALL unless for medicinal purposes (outside), no drama, and no parties (or rarely). I prefer a quiet place and I am a clean person who picks up after herself. It would be nice to meet and get to know one another before the move if possible.
