My teaching style involves finding the right instrument for your expression. This is really great for kids who might not really know which instrument they want to play. I am very patient in allowing for the fact that some kids get distracted easily. The lessons cross over from one instrument to the other, showing how various sounds relate in an ensemble. For those who have picked an instrument, I offer technique, style, and repertoire for sax and clarinet, theory for all instruments. Part of the lesson is usually devoted to actually creating music, with the instructor playing along on piano, drums, or a woodwind instrument.
