Kentucky KM1000 "master model" F-style mandolin, new w / fiberglass case, $1695 in Portland, Oregon For Sale

I have for sale a new (old stock - purchased from Saga in xxxx) KMxxxxB mandolin (with a black lacquered Adirondack spruce top), with full Kentucky warranty. These mandolins have been getting some outstanding reviews since they were re-introduced, and compare favorably with the fine Eastman F-style mandolins. This particular instrument has an "abbreviated" ebony pickguard (installed by respected Portland mandolin luthier, the late Bob Schneider). I've set it up to play easily, and adjusted the string spacing at the bridge to increase the volume, and refit the bridge feet to improve bridge stability and tone. The rubber bands above the nut end and near the tailpiece are to cut down on unwanted string vibration in those areas. I am including for free a fiberglass Golden Gate case which lists for $249.95.
