Local EVENT COORDINATOR or CONCERT PROMOTER Needed ASAP
Do you have experience booking bands for local shows and hosting the event in clubs or hosting open mics at different venues around the Portland area? If so, this would be an easy paid gig for you and is part of an International INDIE Event.
Ever wanted to learn how to promote shows? (We will teach you how)
If so I could use your help. We have an event scheduled in Portland in late February. The event is 75% booked with bands already. The problem is our event coordinator has personal family issues and is unable to complete and host the project. Most of the work we do from our end RE booking the bands. Your function will be primarily working with local sponsors and hosting/facilitating the event in a professional manner. You will be compensated for your effort.
