Associate General Counsel Real Estate in Portland, Oregon For Sale

As**an **Associate**General**Counsel**-**Real**Estate,**you**will counsel**Nike's retail and corporate real estate directors and other business representatives of Nike and its subsidiaries in the negotiation, structure and strategic implementation of various real estate agreements including retail, office and warehouse leasing, purchase and sale agreements, license agreements, construction contracts, and related matters.**You'll**also**negotiate, draft and review leases, amendments, renewals, options, license agreements, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, architect and construction contracts and other real estate related documents. You will be responsible for end-to-end processing, management and documentation.** You will be responsible for managing or directly resolving small and large landlord/tenant disputes. You will closely partner with lease administration, facilities, finance and other internal business colleagues to provide support, guidance and counseling on essential real estate related issues. ** ** ** ** **xxxx03 Qualifications Requirements: - JD degree - Member, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar and willingness to commit to membership in the Oregon State Bar - 5 to 7**years' experience**in a major law firm or in-house with heavy concentration in the following specialty areas: retail leasing (specifically specialty boutique oriented tenant leases, pad & ground leases, major office leases, warehouse/distribution center leases, land acquisition/disposition, general contractor/architectural agreements, SNDAs, estoppels and licenses - Additional expertise and/or knowledge in the following areas: shopping center development & financing,**land use & permitting, zoning,**title & survey,**bankruptcy and foreclosure, and**landlord/tenant dispute resolution including some litigation experience - Proficiencies**with negotiating, drafting and closing the most complex lease and acquisition deals - Creative and decisive problem-solver - Strong oral and written communication skills with solid business acumen - Team player and leader who can enhance performance, improve productivity and get results on tight deadlines NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
