Title: Associate Specialist, Search and Reputation Location: NA-USA-OR-Portland Other Locations: The primary purpose and function of the Associate Specialist,Search and Reputation is to coordinate and execute Banfield's search and reputation programs within the Interactive Marketing team, focusing on search marketing, advertising, and online reputation management. This position will be expected to collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing to help develop concepts specifc to search and reputation programs, as well as broader marketing programs . * Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team. * Develop and execute local and national search marketing initiatives and online media placement targeting client acquisition and brand awareness, with oversight from Sr. Manager. * Develop and execute reputation management initiatives to build positive sentiment and authority for the Banfield brand online, in collaboration with and oversight from Senior Manager as necessary. * Work closed with community managers (external or internal) to triage, escalate and respond to online conversation relative to Banfield brand reputation. * Track and adhere to preapproved budget guidelines for interactive marketing projects and directory advertising initiatives. * Oversee local print and online directory advertising program. * Provide day-to-day management of search marketing, directory advertising, media placement and reputation programs to ensure the strategic objectives are fully met in a timely manner. * Foster relationships and partner with external agencies to develop, implement and measure marketing programs related to interactive marketing. * Monitor, measure, analyze and report on program performance on an ongoing basis; partner with Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing to develop ongoing insights based on the performance of programs. * Propose recommendations for enhancements to search, reputation and other interactive marketing programs in order to increase program performance over time. * Work closely with Interactive Marketing team and traditional media counterparts to support an integrated approach to Interactive and Direct marketing programs. * Work closely with Marketing team leads and counterparts to support their objectives by executing and delivering appropriate digital programs. * Explore emerging channels and trends for new opportunities aligned to business needs. * Review and process invoices, establish vendors, and work with Finance to ensure media expenses are reflected and charged accurately. * Actively participate in workshops and presentations to represent the Marketing team. * Provide general backup support for Interactive Marketing team members. * Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. * Minimum two years of relevant professional marketing experience is required. * Demonstrated ability to perform responsibilities and tasks related to reputation management and search engine marketing required. * Prefer health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.).
