Comcast Spotlights Media Sales portfolio provides effective, interactive and targeted advertising applications that only spot cable can provide including: zone-based targeted :30 spot advertising, long-form video on demand, and four distinct interactive platforms: Request For Information, Telescoping, Remind-Record, and the Comcast Interactive Program Guide. Job Overview Responsible for growing overall Spotlight advertising revenue and market share through the use of Interactive product offerings. Primary focus on regional/interconnect accounts and super key/target local accounts. Manage, coach and lead the interactive sales supervisors within the region. Core Responsibilities - Develops business plan and sales strategy for the region that ensures attainment of company interactive sales goals, as well as, cross departmental collaboration focused on market share growth/account share growth through Spotlights product suitnncurrent and futurnn- Consistently meet or exceed interactive revenue budget by inspiring, motivating, and leading sales managers and sellers - Serve as in-house expert for interactive products including knowledge of Comcasts current product and future enhancements, competitive media and research - Responsible for managing, recruiting and coaching the interactive supervisors within the region - Coach sales managers and sales teams on interactive solutions in order to effectively articulate the value of interactive products - Attend client meetings to assist in the sale of Comcast Spotlight product solutions with an emphasis on regional/interconnect accounts and super key/target local accounts - Provide support to account executives and account planners with customized interactive sales collateral where applicable - Educate sales managers and sales teams on internal interactive sales processes and act as region liaison with the West Division digital traffic team - Serve as communication liaison between corporate and division interactive teams - Generate and track interactive sales activity to evaluate actual budget performance Tasks - Develops positioning pieces, sales sheets, media packages, presentations and other collateral materials that will position the Company as a leader in the advertising community. - Provides custom cross-media solutions to promote new business, enhance value and gain market share with broadcast clients. - Coordinates product distribution, trafficking and overall sales tracking and ensure that the Advanced Media process is followed. - Attends meetings and presentations with Account Executives, proactively communicate with existing and potential clients about the value of the Companys Advanced Media tools. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule nnas necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
