IBS is a parts-management program that establishes a NAPA store inside of another business. NAPA stores owned the inventory and the business is run by the NAPA store on a contractual basis. The individual will be responsible for selling the program, create RFP¿s and manage the sales cycle from cradle to grave. To achieve maximum market penetration, driving market growth, increased sales and profitability through the creation of IBS locations. Assists the District Manager to establish the company-owned IBS stores to generate increased ROI, and assisting the General Manager to establish IBS locations for our independent store owners and improved market penetration and provide excellent customer service. Ability to respond to RFP¿s in a thorough and timely manner. Able to develop and give power point presentations that sell the advantages of the IBS program. Provide brochures, videos, presentation materials, and targeted advertising to potential new prospects. Customer Focus, Revenue Growth, and New Distribution: - Prospects new IBS opportunities ¿ Develop a prospect list with each DM that will ensure a continuous flow of new start up locations. Responsible for turning IBS prospects into new sites. Establish timetables for attaining new agreements and ensures obstacles are overcome. - Sales Volume - held accountable for achieving new IBS opening goals annually. - Strengthen New Locations - Assist General Manager and District Manager to ensure that the right people are in place at the new location to maximize growth. - Relationships ¿ Create and maintain strong relationships with customers. Able to communicate with all levels of an organization. - Coordinate IBS program to Major Accounts ¿ Drive IBS business to our major account customers and administer this program to multiple location user groups. Provide national support for program to ensure consistency with agreements. - Sales ¿ Initiate activity with large potential IBS customers to drive new business to as many field / DC areas including the independent jobbers markets as possible. Operational Excellence: - System Support ¿ Work with system support to provide efficient interface with customer systems to ease workflow and improve productivity. - Reporting ¿ Provide monthly reporting and evaluation of the IBS effort to the General Manager, District Manager and Division Leadership. - Product Support ¿ Work with the product department to provide adequate vendor support in key IBS product categories. Improve the overall network of vendor support and the IBS facility margins through improved acquisition costs. - Professional associations ¿ Be an active participant in both private and public fleet associations that allow us to expand our visibility. Attend regional/national shows and conferences that will allow us to achieve national prominence and exposure for IBS. - Resource Manual ¿ Follow the IBS program resource manual to ensure consistency. - Maintain records ¿ Maintain records of all agreements and RFP¿s for individual IBS locations. Keep active involvement in monitoring the financial wellbeing of all IBS sites. Resolve contract issues. Qualifications Experience, Education, and Abilities: - A four-year business related degree or equivalent business experience. - Demonstrated business to business selling and marketing skills. - Solid working knowledge of the NAPA/APG organization. - Strong negotiation skills. - Solid closing the deal skills. - Good follow-up and organization skills. - Proficient knowledge and experience with MS suite of products Word, PowerPoint, etc . - Able to create financial reports be competitive yet has the ability to work calmly under pressure. - Capable of remaining patient during long-term marketing efforts. - Ability to travel up to of time Closing Statement In the xxxx's, America fell in love with the automobile.
