We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager. Mitchell Lewis and Staver is a stable, ethical, casual, family friendly, market leader with a solid reputation in the industry. MLS is an EEO Employer. Position Objective: Will provide leadership and drive company growth objectives in order to meet sales goals. Will provide a strategic view of the market, build a high performing sales team and conduct all business in an ethical and fair manner. Build effective working relationships with internal and external customers at all levels. Responsible for regional sales budget. Essential Functions: Provide a strategic view of the markets and guidance to executive staff in developing sales plans and goals. Accountable for building and developing a top performing regional sales team and developing and implementing a sales staffing model that includes staffing, hiring, terminations, performance appraisals and structure of sales organization. Develop and implement effective incentive/commission plans for employees in order to motivate staff to attain established sales goals. Accountable for successful implementation of sales and attainment of overall sales and contribution margin goals for all products sold in the region. Accountable for regional sales budget development and compliance. Responsible for providing timely sales forecasting such that effective product purchase and inventory may be obtained. Effectively collaborate with marketing of needs for sales organization and dealer network. Implement marketing plans as developed. Maintain and issue monthly sales pipeline report. Accountable for building and maintaining critical customer relationship management within the region. Accountable for establishing territory sales representative quotas that support the strategic growth plan. Will gather and disseminate competitive information to the appropriate MLS staff members. Responsible for identifying and implementing regional sales/channel strategy for MLS. Identifies core set of top existing regional dealers as well as high potential dealers. Effectively employ MLS CRM tool across the regional sales organization. Complete and regularly update Annual Regional sales plan. Enforce stated MLS pricing guidelines and communicate to regional sales organization. Identify and document customer requirements for product, pricing and program packages. Effectively collaborate with operations team to ensure all internal and external customer service requirements are identified and successfully met in a timely manner. Determine sales tools, collateral materials, etc, that are required from MLS marketing to support the sales process. Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education required: Proven ability to build and lead a sales organization. Excellent interpersonal communication skills that are proven to lead to successful sales growth and long term customer relationships. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers including presentation skills. Competency and understanding of MLS dealer channel or market side partners and build strong customer relationships. Possess strong sense of urgency and tactical perspective Ability to create and execute sales plans Excellent time management skills Skilled in CRM technologies and proactive use of this tool Conduct all business dealings in a fair, honest and ethical manner Team player Knowledge of Microsoft office suite at an intermediate level. Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent required Will require significant, travel to current and potential clients is required. Understanding of pumping solutions and the ability to recommend the solutions that meet the application requirements. Requires knowledge of rotating equipment, liquid pumps, motors, and pumping electrical controls preferred. Experience in agricultural pumping, residential pumping, industrial pumping, and waste water pumping preferred.
