Retail Sales Manager Requisition Number: xxxx Shift: Days Company: HP Hood Location: Remote City: Portland State: OR Department: Sales DESCRIPTION: Pacific Northwest Retail Sales Manager Position is located within the Portland, Oregon region Job Function: Manage all facets of assigned geography to attain volume goals and financial targets through effective account and broker management. Coordinate with division and corporate personnel in productive manner to insure retail execution, effective trade plans, and positive communications on competitive activity, market needs, and expectations against objectives of broker organizations. Job Responsibilities: * Effective Trade management to include plan development, execution and financial management within trade budgets to achieve volume goals. * Customer engagement to include effective customer relationships via account calls for both personal accounts and indirect accounts covered via broker to include; business reviews, new items presentations, category management initiatives, etc. * Retail efforts should include personal audits to secure sound understanding of market conditions, competitive information and executional opportunities and success * Effective broker management to include clear objective setting and execution via MAPS process to include both wholesale and retail leadership Hood divisional personnel. * Effective communication both internally and externally to insure broker execution, manager understanding support of key needs and issues, company and management understanding of geography competitive landscape, retail execution within market with Hood Retail Sales Manager REQUIREMENTS: Job Qualifications: * BA/BS Degree in Business or related field. * Required 3-5 years’ experience in consumer products related positionnKey Account Management, Broker Managemennn* The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, and capable of working independently. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong knowledge base of MS Office platform, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
