xxxx045 - Broan-NuTone LLC, the leading manufacturer of residential ventilation and home convenience products has an immediate opportunity for a highly motivated salesperson in the Portland, Oregon and Southern Washington areas.    Responsbilities include;  calling on and creating new business through builders, specifiers, contractors, distributors, etc.  Develops and conducts sales, training, and motivational meetings for these customers.  Keep informed on new products, competition, industry and construction trends of interest to customers, and develops and implements strong pull-through sales plans and penetration of new markets.   Drawing on his/her sales experience (5 Years) and product/industry market knowledge, this position requires a high priority to have experience selling to/consulting "green building" industry, high performance homes, sustainable home building.   Will call on RESNET raters, Energy Star builders and contractors, "green building" organizations of all types.  Has key distributor responsibility.    , Bachelor's Degree, Sales or Marketing preferred.  Will have a minimum 5 years outside sales experience.  Prefer candidates familiar with "green building" industry, high performance homes, etc.  Also requires experience calling on engineers, home builders, HVAC and Electrical Contractors.  Not just sales experience, but 'solution based sales" experience and familiarity with specifying process. Excelent oral and written communication skills.  Acceptable computer and electronic media skills.  Creative problem solving skills.  Ability to work independently.  Highly organized.  Occasional overnight travel.
