Title: Land Development Design/Staff EngineennP2-3 DOnnLocation: US-OR-Portland Other Locations: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct supervision of a licensed professional, this position works on Civil Engineering projects with emphasis on a broad variety of land development projects including site layout and detailing, grading and utility design and public improvements. • Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations; adjusts and correlates data; recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps of processes • Applies standard engineering techniques, standards and criteria. • Uses engineering judgment and make minor adaptations as required for task completion • Under direct supervision, performs or assists in performing studies, calculation, designs, and the preparation of reports, plans and specifications. • Other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • BS or BA in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution required • Minimum of 2-4 years practical experience • Demonstrated understanding of AutoCADD design and drafting as it relates to land development and transportation projects.
