The Regional 401 k Sales Manager is responsible for marketing 401 k and group insurance products to achieve growth, retention, and profitability goals in a defined geographical area, working with direct writers, and agency sales producers. This position is responsible for a territory that includes Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and portions of Northern California & Nevada. What You'll Do As Regional 401 k Sales Manager, you’ll provide sales expertise and assist sales producers in point of sale presentations in the sale of 401 k and group products. In addition, you will: · Have the ability to generate personal sales production of 401 k products through direct contacts with prospects outside of Sentry’s target markets. · Act as one of the primary contacts for sales producers and their management to ask questions regarding products and sales and marketing programs. · Assist the sales force in sales situations by developing sales tracks and proposals appropriate for specific prospect circumstances and may assist in making the actual sales presentation. · Facilitate monthly training sessions on the marketing of 401 k and group products with Sentry’s direct writing sales producers. · Plan and conduct meetings as directed to further the marketing efforts of 401 k and group with agency sales producers. · Develop and manage marketing program for the successful sale of 401 k and group within the assigned region. · Assist in the development and execution of 401 k and group product promotions both in the direct writing and agency levels. What it Takes · Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience · Thorough knowledge of 401 k products, plan design, and related ERISA requirements. · Experience as a field producer and/or field sales management beneficial. · Industry designations such as an AIF, CRPS, or ARPC beneficial. · Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required · Current license to sell life and health insurance products is required, or the ability to obtain a license in a reasonable amount of time · Ability to meet the travel requirements of the job What You'll Receive Sentry's excellent benefits package is designed to meet today's most important needs.
