Job Description:
We are on a Mission to find a Maintenance/Service Manager to manage our maintenance operations of one of our beautiful properties. Mission Rock Residential is a top tier Multi:Family housing apartment community management company that has a team member first mission statement and culture. We are seeking a energetic, organized individual with a passion for team work and customer service. Strong communication skills required and ability to work well alone at times is preferred. Our perfect candidate has an eye for detail, prefers to work swiftly but efficiently and provide outstanding customer service to our dedicated residents. Pool keeping, work order completion and unit turns are a daily part of this position and there will also be some basic unit upgrades and exterior renovation projects to help manage Spyglass Hill Apartment Community located in Beaverton, OR Position Summary:The Maintenance/Service Manager is responsible for the day:to:day maintenance operations of the Sorrento Apartment Community and ensures that the overall physical aspects of the property meet the Companys established standards and any applicable laws. Applicant must be strong in leadership qualities, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, daily organization, parts inventory, staff delegation, and manage a large work load. Preferred EPA and CPO Certified. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinates the day:to:day maintenance operations of the property.- Assists manager with interviewing and hiring maintenance staff.- Directs and supervises daily activities of the maintenance team, such as planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks and delegating work, monitoring progress and work flow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy, and appraising work performance.Education and/or Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent.- Minimum 2:3 years of previous experience as a Service Manager, other commercial or facility maintenance or related trade is required. Top Candidates must have leadership skills and be able to drive their team in a positive and productive way. Required Licenses:- Current driver license and automobile insurance.
