New Teardrop Camping Trailer in Portland, Oregon For Sale

This new teardrop trailer features meticulous construction and natural wood finishes. The trailer is extremely light (600 pounds) and able to be pulled with almost any car. It has a very functional kitchen with a sink, storage above the counter, space for a cooler and storage below the counter. The cabin is 76"L x 46.5"W x 38"H. Inside the sleeping compartment, there is a storage cabinet above the foot of the bed, which is 46.5"W x 18"D x 20"H; bypass doors close it off. There is also a very handy shelf above the bed which is 46.5"W x 4.5"D. It's designed to hold simple items, like your car keys, an alarm clock or your wallet, while you sleep.
Construction details: The floor is 2" x 2" framing on 12" centers, with 1.5" rigid foam insulation and a 1/2" plywood deck covered with vinyl. Underneath, to protect it from moisture and road debris, the bottom side has two coats of asphalt sealer. The walls are 3/4" oak plywood construction. The two doors have tinted glass horizontal sliding windows and screens for insect free venting. The roof is 2" x 2" framing with 1.5" rigid foam insulation, a 14" x 14" tinted vent that opens, with a screen. The roof is 1/8" mahogany plywood on the exterior and inside, covering the ceiling. A power connection outside and a plug inside, allow for electrical power in the cabin. There are three LED lights in the cabin a two in the kitchen. This unit comes with a custom sized 4" Dacron wrapped foam mattress that is very comfortable. The entire exterior is sealed with three coats of marine epoxy sealer. The walls are finished with three coats of marine spar varnish and the roof has three coats of spar enamel paint. There's an aluminum diamond plate rock guard on the front to protect the trailer from rock chips.
